George Franklin Gross, Jr. passed away at his home in Hixson, Wednesday January 3rd, 2018, where he had lived since returning to Chattanooga to care for his parents, George Franklin (Buck) Gross, Sr. and Dorothy Locklear Gross who preceded him in death.
Frank will be remembered for his big heart and distinct laugh. Whether it was his years playing football at Parkway Central in St. Louis, Missouri, cheering on his UTC MOCS during his college years or on the golf course enjoying time with friends, Franklin left us many fond memories that we...

George Franklin Gross, Jr. passed away at his home in Hixson, Wednesday January 3rd, 2018, where he had lived since returning to Chattanooga to care for his parents, George Franklin (Buck) Gross, Sr. and Dorothy Locklear Gross who preceded him in death.
Frank will be remembered for his big heart and distinct laugh. Whether it was his years playing football at Parkway Central in St. Louis, Missouri, cheering on his UTC MOCS during his college years or on the golf course enjoying time with friends, Franklin left us many fond memories that we can cherish forever. We, Frank's family, feel blessed that God allowed his compassionate spirit to enrich our lives.
He is survived by sisters Linda Gross Floyd and husband Jack of Soddy Daisy, Pamela Gross Taylor and husband David of Birmingham, AL. Nieces Bonnie (Joel) Cordell, Brencie (Kevin) Fox, Nephews, Sean (Ashley) Taylor, Ryan (Erica) Taylor, and Matthew (Mellissa) Taylor, great nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
At Franklin's request the body will be cremated and a private family memorial will be later. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time.....
